The year is 1906. Pyotr Stolypin, who has just been appointed Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Empire, arrives in St. Petersburg. A group of maximalist revolutionaries is developing a plan to kill the "enemy of the revolution." But how to get close to such an important person? Who will emerge victorious in this confrontation — the fanatical, firmly convinced supporters of the revolution, ready to lay down their lives in the name of alleviating the fate of oppressed workers and peasants, or the all-powerful chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, working tirelessly to restore order in a country torn apart by political violence.
